The course
PHGN 311 introduces the mathematical toolkit that recurs throughout physics, showing how linear algebra, complex variables, Fourier analysis, and vector calculus tie together problems in mechanics, quantum mechanics, optics, and electricity and magnetism.
My role
In Fall 2023 I ran PHGN 311’s review sessions and office hours and wrote its problem sets and exams from scratch.
