What I'm focused on right now.
Last updated: April 2026 · Boston, MA
Research
Building spectroscopic intravascular OCT systems at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine (Harvard Medical School / MGH). Current work focuses on inverse algorithms for extracting tissue optical properties from spectroscopic OCT data, and NIR-II photoacoustic imaging for deep-tissue molecular detection.
PhD applications
Preparing applications for Fall 2027 entry. Target programs center on quantum sensing, correlative OCT–NV center diamond magnetometry, and computational optical imaging. Exploring labs at MIT, Stanford, Caltech, Harvard SEAS, and University of Maryland.
Podcast
Developing a science podcast exploring how fundamental physics innovation translates into technologies that solve grand challenges in health, energy, and information. Currently in pre-production: building the guest pipeline, production stack, and first episode scripts.
Ventures
Exploring deep-tech venture creation at the intersection of biophotonics and clinical diagnostics — translating research from the lab to real-world patient impact.
Learning
Quantum computing fundamentals, Lean 4 theorem proving, advanced fiber optics, and the business mechanics of deep-tech company formation.
